Next Maritime was invited this week by Repsol to visit their brand new headquarters in Madrid.

Repsol's headquarters are located at Mendez Alvaro street in Madrid (Spain). Built with an area of 123.000 square meters and four buildings designed by the architect Rafael de La Hoz. Inaugurated last 31st January 2013 by his majesty Prince Felipe de Borbon.

This modern building was built following innovative sustainability criteria, with a ground floor plus four offices and services floors. These buildings are awarded with the gold certification LEED, the most recognized award for the sustainability on buildings, given by the Green Building Council. It also has two underground floors for housing services and parking for 1.800 vehicles.

The buildings is ring-shaped making it possible to enjoy an almost 10.000 square-metre tree-lined garden. In addition, a new green area was created around the business campus. This campus is having 2 cafeterias, 17 vending areas, a health center with medical services and a corporate gym, between other services.
