Statement on COVID-19

Next focus is on supporting our customers, our employees and the local communities in which we operate. We have successfully worked to avoid disruptions caused by COVID-19 coronavirus, while at the same time acting responsibly to do what we can to prevent further spread of the virus.

In the current context of COVID-19, we want to assure our customers and partners that we are fully able to operate. Over the past months, we have been taking actions to help preventing infections at our sites around the world. Next Maritime has a pandemic preparedness plan that has been implemented. The health and wellbeing of our employees is our first priority and in that respect we have deployed our business continuity plan to guarantee both employees safety and operations continuity.

We will continue to closely monitor and assess the evolving situation and will be diligent about communicating on important issues

Next Maritime's measures against the Covid-19:
  • Application of basic protective and preventive safe work practices.
  • Preparation of our workplaces.
  • Development of policies and procedures in order to identify and isolate people who may be affected.
  • Informing our staff members about our workplace flexibilities.
  • Implementation of workplace controls and administrative controls.
  • Provisioning of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • On-Line training for all our staff.
  • Vaccination campaign follow-up.
